BOOKING A STALL

ALL STALLS ARE $83 + GST + Eventbrite booking fee.

We operate weekly at 75 Rose Street Fitzroy in collaboration with The Fitzroy Mills Market.

Note: We are NOT looking for more jewellery at this stage, so please don’t book in if this is what you are selling.   

Note: You must book a stall to have a place at the market. Tables and clothes racks can be hired in addition to a stall booking. Marquees can be hired on the day for $15. You will receive all your insturctions on Thursday before the market.

HOW MUCH IS A STALL?

$83 + GST+ Eventbrite fee per stall

You can also hire tables for $12 and coat racks for $6 and $15 marquees

WHAT ARE MY STALL OPTIONS?

The stalls are approximately 3x 3 metes in dimension but vary in shape.

  • Some of the stalls are outside, some are undercover. We offer marquee hire for outside stalls. Most of the undercover stalls are booked by our regular stall holders.
  • Undercover stalls DO NOT have your car with you at your stall location but there is free parking on the second level of the market area.
  • Some outside stalls have a car park next to them and some have a car space allocated upstairs.
  • You WILL have time to offload your stuff near to your stall right before the market starts.

Trestle & Coat Racks: are available for pre-paid hire (or you can BYO). Trestles cost $12, coat racks $6. Orders are placed via the booking form.

WAITLIST

If a market date is fully booked you can join the waitlist. To book or add yourself to the wait list for a particular market please click button below.  Choose your market date and click “Get Tickets”, there is an option to join the waitlist. We contact that list if there are cancellations.

WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Note: We are not currently looking for jewellery stalls as we are at capacity.

We are looking for stall holders selling second hand, handmade, vintage. Nothing mass produced or bought wholesale.

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING, FOOD, BEVERAGES, CANDLES, PLANTS, SAUCES, SKIN PRODUCTS. We operate two markets on one site. So, please apply with our market partners, The Fitzroy Mills. https://www.thefitzroymills.com/

We will also refund anyone copying products from other stalls.

ON THE DAY!

The address is 75 Rose Street Fitzroy.

You will receive information about stall locations, the stall map and arrival times on the Thursday before the market.

IF YOU ARE LATE – you need to contact the organisers via email [email protected] and you will have to wait until the rest of the stall holders have finished unloading and you may not be able to off load your stuff at your stall. There will be traffic marshals to help you through this process. If we haven’t heard from you 30 minutes before the market opens, we may give your stall away.

2. Parking:

Once you have offloaded your stuff you are to park onsite in the 2nd level of the market’s car park. There is a ramp to get you there. Please note you DO NOT have to pay for parking if you are parking up the top of the market.

3. Preparing for the market

Bring your own chairs and coat hangers if needed – we do not supply them and don’t forget to bring drinking water and sunscreen if appropriate!

We are happy to announce that Sacred heart Mission will be leaving bins out at the end of each market to collection donations.  So if you do not want take home stuff you didn’t sell they will take it for you!

4. Coat racks and tables

Will be available from the traffic marshal at the entrance to the undercover area (toilets). Please do not help yourself to them we need to mark you off the list. If you haven’t already hired a table or rack please let us know ASAP as we will be only bringing a few spares. You can pay cash on the day.

5. LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT YOU ARE COMING!

Promote your stall through Facebook post, Twitter, Instagram, email or whatever – @fitzroymarket is our address. If you do an Instagram story use @fitzroymarket so we can reshare your post and promote your stall.  If all of us promote the market it gets the message out to thousands of people.

  • If you are looking for insurance, we can recommend Net Insure or My Market Insurance as a competitive option. We do not require insurance for our general stall holders at the market.

  • Don’t sell your goods TOO cheaply! If you sell everything for $1 you will have to make a lot of sales to make back your stall hire fee and make a profit.

Stalls are approximately 3 X 3 metres, clothes racks are approximately 1.2 metres long and tables are 1.8 metres long.

IF ALL STALLS ARE SOLD

If all stalls are sold, the market is sold out. You can go on the waiting list. If there is no option for waiting list that means the waiting list is full. The best thing to do is follow us on Eventbrite. That way you will be notified when new market dates are announced. Stalls are often booked out 2 months in advance.
